Honoring the Soldier's Uniform

The soldier's uniform expresses to the eyes that look upon it, the honorable character of Truth, Righteous, Faith, and Grace. The weapon identifies itself as being in the hands of a competent person having courage and great skill to use it.

This soldier has been disciplined to perform on the battlefield with endurance and perseverance that dwell within the soul of such person; determined to perform every skill possessed to its highest level. If you gaze into the eyes of this soldier, you will see hope. If you observe the footsteps, you will see steadiness, sureness, and strength.

This performance expresses readiness to defend the country and its people that this soldier Love. The soldier dressed complete in uniform, has performed with honor and captured the hearts of the people. With tears and prayers they express their Love with Thanks and God's blessings.

Those who meet the soldiers in uniform, recognizes the great sacrifices they have made, and will take a moment to say a friendly "Hello"  It is because they honor the sacrifices that were made and the training they received to bring honor to wear the uniform.

Soldiers never have to say they are fighting because they love their country, they express it in their performance.

Those who have been elected by the people to perform in governmental positions say they are serving their country, because of their love for it.
What sacrifices have they made?
The elected officials get paid to perform their duties and enjoy things that many others are not privileged to.
To see the way many of our elected official behave, they seem to care more about the party they represent, than the country and its people.
Is honor expressed in the character of elected officials in the same way it is expressed in the character of the soldier's uniform?

Is It So Wrong to Fall In Love and Sacrifice?

A Molded Vessel

There are things we go through that are painful to endure: They are the storms of life that comes to challenge our strength. They are the trials and tribulations that confront us. During these storms, we gain patience. And we get experience, which gives us hope. After having endured and persevered through the storms of life we become stronger, and wiser. Our character is improved. Happiness comes when the storm is over.

Release Your Supernatural Strength

Through Prayer, God is Our Hope
He gives power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increases strength. (Isaiah 40:29)

Release your supernatural strength, and accomplish all your goals.

We are Strong like the Eagle
The strength of the eagle is in his wings. Our strength is in our prayers.
Therefore we have hope. In hardships, and persecutions, we don't give up. Instead, we mount up! And we defeat our challengers. We succeed.

Scripture:

They that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles: they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. (Isaiah 40: 31)

A Mother’s Love is The Best Medicine

A mother’s love is like an everlasting bed of roses, that continues to blossom.

A mother’s love bears strength, comfort, healing and warmth. Her beauty is compared to a sunny day that shines upon each rose petal and inspires hope.

The connection between a loving mother and her child is an everlasting bond.

In times of sickness, a broken heart and spirit, a mother’s Love has a special healing effect that will reach within the soul of her child and heal aches and pain in places within them, that medicine cannot cure.

Your mother’s Love is present within your soul. She will never leave your side. In your time of need, she will guide.

Working Together for Peace

God Give Us Peace
Without Peace We Are Without Freedom

“To experience the spirit of peace, one must have freedom. Neither can be obtained without the other.”

We live in a world of violence. Peace is never accomplished through the methods of anger and hate by causing harm to others.

When people find ways to communicate with each other by working together creating plans, to solve and resolve the cause of differences, peace is accomplished.

Success is our goal

Sweet Memories

The things we treasure in our hearts are memories we hold dear to us.  Each of us has a treasure of sweet memories from our past.  As an adult, my sweet memories are the times I spent with my parents, during my childhood years.

One of my memories was my first bike. This was a gift from my father that he brought home, when I was in my preteen years. I recall the excitement of getting on the bike and falling, before he told me, “You have to balance the bike.” Having him there to give me encouraging words were the results of my learning to ride the bike, within 15 minutes without falling again. MY father was so proud!

Other memories were going fishing, with my parents. The first fish I caught was a catfish. My father took it off the hook, and placed it in a pail of water. He then, told me to touch the fish. When I did so, it moved, and that was a frightening experience. For a short period of time, I refused to touch a catfish. My parents told me, if I wanted to go fishing, I had to take all the fish I caught off the hook; and put the bait on the hook by myself. My father helped me to overcome the fear of touching a catfish. He taught me how to remove a catfish from the hook, without getting poked by the fins.

There are many sweet memories I treasure with my parents, among them are the games they played with me and my nieces and nephews, who are very close to my age. I am the youngest of my six siblings; most were teenagers and young adults when I was born; with the exception of my brother James, who is seven years older than I am.

My parents’ presence at the performances I gave in churches and in school was encouraging and supportive. I grew up on a large farm and enjoyed the space and fruit orchards, fields of vegetables, pecan and walnut trees, cows, horses, dog, and cat.

I am blessed to have had, two parents who loved me. God placed me in their lives, at a time when they did not think they would conceive another child. I lived with my parents until the age of 21, before getting married and pursuing my dreams.

My parents passed away several years ago, within a year apart.

The sweet memories of my parents still live on within my treasure of memories.

Hello My Friend

Hello friend,
How are you doing today?
I hope things are going well with you.
I pray you will be greatly blessed in the days to come.
God bless you and your family in safety, and in good health.
We are not defined by belief or by faith nor religion. We are the family of God.

Words of Inspirations:
For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold  from them that walk uprightly. (Psalm 84:11 K.J.V)

Love is the Strongest Link that Binds Us Together

God’s Love is revealed within us, when it is expressed for all people.
It is the power of God’s Love that links us together. The strength of his love dwelling within our spirits binds us together in times of disasters, despair, heartaches and tragedies and forms a chain of power as one people.

Within this chain of an opportunity to choose to love God, comes the choice to choose to love those who he has created.  Therefore, it is impossible to love God and choose who we love and hate.
God is Love, and to Love God, is to Love rather than hate.  Hate close opportunities to have peace with others and establish a meaningful relationship.

With Love and Peace,

A Prayer for Blessings

God be merciful to me, and provide me with your blessings. Help me to show Love for others, as you have shown Love for me. Give to me your peace and blessings of good health.  And provide me with the protection of your Angels to keep me safe. Let your blessings of happiness and prosperity with success, dwell within my shelter on this day, and in the days to come.

There is One Creator of Life

All life exists because of one creator.

God is the creator of all life.
And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.

And God said to the fist couple he created; Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seeds; to you it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creeps upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every herb for meat: and it was so.

Happiness

Happiness is never found in materialistic things; it exists in things that cannot be physically possessed. Therefore, happiness is priceless. It can never be purchased.
Love is happiness.

Undisciplined Children

The Sons of Eli are very much like some of our leaders, and parents, of today. Their leadership is of poor judgment; it separates those they lead, and cause problems among the people.  Stronger leaders and good parental role models are needed to correct many of the problems in society that have become those of the world.

Undisciplined children such as the sons of Eli, grow up to become adults. Many of them have children of their own. From undisciplined generations of people, society becomes filled with those who contribute to problems relating to acts of violent behavior; such people harm others without remorse, and destroy property, without caring who the owners are. They have no conscious of guilt for the evil acts they commit against others.

God warned Eli to disciple his children while they were young. Eli refused to discipline his children despite God’s instructions. The results of his adult children bad behavior brought embarrassment to him, along with God’s punishment.

God’s message will always stand for all parents to discipline their children: Undisciplined children show no respect to their parents and neither to others. They have no regards for the laws of the land. Medication cannot be used as a tool to discipline bad behavior. It will never replace the disciplinary measures used by parents. Failure to discipline children results in world problems. That is the penalty.

Every generation has been given the same blueprint to follow for the good of society. When that blueprint is disregarded by parents and those in leadership positions, the chain is broken and the human race suffers.

The Darkest Moments When Hope is Gone

May the God of hope and peace comfort your mind and heal all your hurts.
When hope is gone, in your darkest of moments, if you pause and consider; who has created you and all life, and the things that exists in both Earth and in the heavens above; is also, able to deliver you, and solve all of your problems, hope will return to you.

“For with God nothing shall be impossible.” St. Luke 1:37 (K.J.V)

Contentment

Contentment
I thank God for his love for me, and for each choice I made.
I chose love over hate.
I chose forgiveness over grudges.
I chose peace over war.
I chose thankfulness over complaints.
I give thanks to God for the contentment I found within me.
I now live my life, with the satisfaction of my choices.
When I chose contentment, I chose happiness.
